Shazam: Fury of the Gods got a fresh teaser for DC Studio’s Japanese fans for New Year’s.  Star Zachary Levi wished Japanese fans a happy new year in-costume as “The Big Red Cheese.”

With the Shazam! sequel set to fly into theaters this March, the promo also features some footage from the sequel.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods will be the first DC Studio movie out of the gate in 2023.

Posted on DC Japan’s official Twitter account, the 40-second promo sees Zachary Levi’s Shazam wishing “all of [his] Japanese friends a very happy and healthy New Year.”

The DC teenager-turned-superhero then goes on to tell fans “remember, there’s a superhero inside all of us” before throwing to a collection of clips from the upcoming film.

Expect a new full length trailer soon in the build up to the movie’s March release.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods arrives in theaters worldwide on March 17.
