Adam B. Vary, the senior entertainment editor at Variety took to Twitter Tuesday morning to dispute an “exclusive claim” by Screen Geek posted on Monday claiming that Ezra Miller was being replaced by Dylan O’Brien on The Flash because of recent legal troubles.

On Monday, Screen Geek said they “learned that Warner Bros is considering their options when it comes to replacing Ezra Miller… and a source close to the situation has informed us about is Dylan O’Brien.”

Vary responded Monday evening on Twitter: I’m told that WB is *not* considering replacing Ezra Miller on THE FLASH. Miller was arrested twice in Hawai’i this year, once for disorderly conduct and harassment, and again for second-degree assault.

Vary reminded everyone of Miller’s legal woes stemming from being “arrested for second-degree assault in Hawaii, less than four weeks after the “Flash” and “Fantastic Beasts” star was arrested for disorderly conduct and harassment in Hilo, Hawaii.”

According to the Hawaii Police Department, Miller allegedly became irate after being asked to leave and threw a chair, striking a 26-year-old woman on the forehead and resulting in an approximate half-inch cut. The woman refused treatment for the injury.

Police arrested Miller at 1:30 a.m. after the actor was located on the roadway during a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 130 and Kukula Street in Kea‘au. Miller was released at 4:05 a.m. after conferring with the County Prosecutor’s Office, pending further investigation. The investigation remains active.

O’Brien is best known for playing  Stiles Stilinski on the MTV supernatural drama Teen Wolf, the lead Thomas in theMaze Runner, and American Assassin opposite Michael Keaton.

O’Brien had been rumored to play Dick Grayson/Nightwing in Warner Bros.’ upcoming Batgirl and recently appeared on Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.
