Todrick Hall Muses On Why White Gays Can Be Victims Not Black Ones

Share

Todrick Hall took to Twitter to ponder on why white gays like Billy Eichner can obsufucate their failures by playing the victim while Black queers can not.

Hall was responding again to allegations that he verbally abused  and didn’t pay back up dancers in his videos in the past.

Hall shared his thoughts with the queer community: “When our LGBTQ+ show was announced you’d think any pushback would’ve come from the church or conservatives. But a closer look would show you that the call was coming from inside the house.”

Hall targets Eichner’s box office bomb Bros in the comments.

Hall said:

“Listen, I said what I said. I’m not arguing with anyone, ESPECIALLY ones who completely missed the point of my tweet.

Gay people at any given moment: Representation means me being personally successful despite being garbage.

Also them: Representation doesn’t mean anything unless I’m at the center of it.

my point is more so they’re playing the blame game as to why their projects didn’t perform well/got backlash from queer people. It’s more so they’re egotistical and unlikable than gay. So the fact their creating this narrative because they’re gay is kinda laughable.”

Hall is currently a cast mate MTV’s The Real Gays of WeHo.
