Bryce Bowyn’s ‘Bye Bye’ Bets Fate To Win in New Video

Singer Bryce Bowyn’s new video for the track “Bye Bye” was inspired by Swedish film The Seventh Seal by Ingmar Bergman.
The video, directed by Belinda Shao and costarring Joshua Hall/Ruth Allen Ginsberg, debuted Friday.

“I told Belinda I wanted the concept of the video to be based in nature and that I wanted to be playing games of fate with Death, ” Bowyn says, “She pointed us towards the movie The Seventh Seal from the 50s. The imagery in that film is spectacular and spooky as hell. This video is our own gay, twist on that story. I’m challenged to a game of chess by the beautiful and haunting Ruth Allen Ginsberg. As the stakes of the game get more deadly, I think I have the upper hand, but ultimately my hubris catches up with me.”
