The themes of the shows will include cancel culture and sensitivity and probe many of the other current topics that have been circulating in the news and in conversations on social media and among the public.

McCormick told GayNrd:

“I’m from DC originally and we are donating a portion of the shows sales to Mary’s House for Older LGBTQ Adults. People can expect a great show as always. It’s going to be funny, uplifting and although we’re gonna be laughing—come with your thinking hats on, because we are gonna talk about some real shit.”

Sampson returns after a year of significant milestones that include being part of Netflix Is a Joke’s year long comedy festival, and he saw the debut of both B-Boy Blues on BET+ (on which he served as co-executive producer) and the premiere of his directorial debut Roux’s Blues: Promise Me, You’ll Be There written by Donnie Hue Frazier.

Blues premiere was at the Miracle Theater in Inglewood in June and it will be playing festivals the remainder of the year.
