“They call us groomers, but a child predator is funding the Florida GOP, and barely anyone is talking about it. Meet Republican Congressman Mark Foley. He co-chaired the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children in the early 2000s.”

At the time, the House had something called the Page Program, which is basically a super prestigious internship for 16-year-old high school students.

Well, in 2006, one of those pages bravely stepped forward to reveal that Foley had repeatedly preyed upon the boy’s peers, who were children. 

I’m not going to tweet the transcripts because they’re gross, but you can look them up. 

Anyway, Foley resigned, and the FBI began investigating whether he’d broken child pornography laws. But House Republicans–– who were led by Dennis Hastert (a serial child molester) refused to give authorities access to Congressional computers.

Foley was never charged. And here’s where it gets crazy. To this day, Republicans are still in love with him and his money.

While in office, Trump’s ambassador to Germany, wined and dined Mark Foley, a known child predator, at a dinner party. 

In 2018, Donald  Trump  Jr.  hosted Mark Foley, a known child predator, at Mar-A-Lago. Since resigning, Mark Foley, a known child predator, has donated over $118,000 to Florida Republicans, the same people who gave us “Don’t Say Gay.”

In 2019, Florida Republicans *honored* Mark Foley, a known child predator, for his “service” to the community.

Foley isn’t just a bad egg. The GOP has a pedophile problem. Of all the federal sex scandals in the 21st century, Republicans are responsible for 80% of them.

So ask yourself: would you let your child near a Republican politician?
