Voices from the Front: Ukraine’s Freedom Fighting Gay Soldiers Are Helping Win

Ukraine’s unbelievably epic resistance to Russia’s horrific five week invasion of their country is being spearheaded by its gay troops who are feeling exhilaration at being on the front line battle for freedom.

Army officer Viktor Pylypenko posted on Instagram:

On the first day, four fighters had already received medication, without which their bruises, inflammation and minor injuries were difficult to heal.
I told the boys that the program was made by a “lesbian organization” and told about the persecution and attacks by aunts from the rear on their March Equality Marches. The boys were very surprised how girls could be attacked and hated, only because of their nature, and also men … When I asked to be photographed, they readily agreed and refused to let me cover their faces.
