SNL’s Toothless George Santos Sketch Fails To Critique his Real Danger

Saturday Night Live unsurprisingly chose a sketch about America’s joke of a congressman George Santos played by Bowen Yang last night, but missed the boat entirely with its toothless failure to critique the real dangers he represents.

Yang’s lazy impersonation was a mistake given the fact that while many are blithely indifferent to his seemingly endless torrent of lies, they are in fact dangerous.

Yang’s jokes showed Santos the same indifference that got him elected.

Santos on Saturday also briefly commented and admitted to reports he performed as a drag queen in Brazil.

Santos said: “I was young and I had fun at a festival — sue me for having a life.”
