SNIPES Celebrated MLK Day with Spoken Word Reimagining Iconic Speech

Streetwear brand SNIPES worked with Bronx based poet, performer, educator, and activist Roya Marsh to imagine a contemporary performance of Martin Luther King Jr.’s iconic “I Have A Dream speech” for MLK Day Monday.
Marsh is the author of dayliGht.
Her work is concerned with Queer liberation and dismantling white supremacy.

Marsh is also the co-founder of the Bronx Poet Laureate, a PEN America Emerging Voices Mentor, Lamda Literary faculty, and the recipient of the 2021 Lotus Foundation Prize for poetry.
