Jack Harlow Shares How Working with Lil Nas X Made Him Think Bigger

Share

Jack Harlow was on The Breakfast Club Friday morning where he talked about his new album “Come Home the Kids Miss You,” which just dropped.

During the conversation he revealed how working Lil Nas X opened his mind not just to gay issues but also forced him to look at a bigger picture describing Montero as legendary.

“He pushed me to want to make bigger music. Lil Nas is a legend.”

The Wall Street Journal:

Harlow, the boyish hip-hop sensation who released his new album, “Come Home the Kids Miss You,” Friday, is one of music’s most hyped new stars. Now he just has to convince his many critics of his bona fides as a rapper.

The 24-year-old Louisville, Ky., native broke out with “Whats Poppin,” a snappy pop-rap single that hit No. 2 on the charts two years ago. Since then the funny, social media-savvy artist has collaborated with Drake and Kanye West, appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine (which called him a “zoomer sex symbol”) and landed two chart-topping hits: “Industry Baby” (with Lil Nas X) and “First Class,” which was the most-streamed song in America last week, according to Luminate, a data provider that powers the Billboard charts.
