Husband Posts Help Wanted ‘Looking for Gay Man To Take Wife Out To Party ‘

A New York man turned to Craigslist to find a companion for his wife so she could go to gay parties on the weekend safely without him.

Nightlife producer Terence Edgerson — aka the NY Social Bee online — shared a screenshot of the listing titled “Looking for Gay man to take wife out to party (Chelsea),” in a post on Instagram.

The post reads:

“My wife is great but she always wants to go out. Especially to Brooklyn electronic music events. Unfortunately, I’m unable to keep up with her. I’m not disabled or anything. I just need someone who can chaperone her to these events as a friend so I can get some rest.
Ideally, you’re into this type of music, you like to party, and are probably in your late 20’s to 30’s. She’s 30.
This would be paid by the hour ($30/hour) as well as cover the price of admission to any event. t
And would most likely be on a Friday or Saturday.
