Revelers can navigate The Redwood Art Walk, take a selfie with Bigfoot, participate in a scavenger hunt, shop through a market featuring local vendors and provisions from some of The Redwood’s favorite fellow LGBTQI+ partners, celebrate cannabis culture and get an unrivaled taste of today’s Humboldt – all in one afternoon.

The Redwood Riverwalk, a stylish, boutique roadside motel destination located off California’s iconic Redwood Highway in the heart of Humboldt County, is pleased to announce its first annual “Humboldt Hootenanny.”

The event will take place April 20 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and is a celebration of local artists and vendor partners.

As Humboldt’s signature independent motel in the cannabis capital of California, The Redwood offers “boutique motel” hospitality with a fun, alternative flavor. Nestled in the charming town of Fortuna, it is an ideal destination for those seeking a strong sense of place that’s rooted in Humboldt’s redwood culture.

“Our visitors are always amazed by how vibrant this community has become in recent years,” said Jeff Durham, owner of The Redwood Riverwalk.

“Our team is thrilled to show off all the local artists and growers this region has to offer. And what better day to do it than 4/20? We hope our Hootenanny will showcase the new face of Humboldt.”
