They’re one of the hottest star crossed love stories in fandom and their latests Instagram posts suggest the duo are aware and may be foreshadowing season four.

Thwaites posted a photo of himself and Diop smiling and expressed his appreciation for Diop, writing that he was lucky to have someone so genuinely kind-hearted and talented by his side for the last four seasons. Diop bought him a T-shirt for his birthday back in season two, and he wore it so much that it “disintegrated into dust.”
Thankfully, Diop’s aunt replaced it with a Senegalese-styled shirt, which he wears in the behind-the-scenes photo.

Diop responded to the post by wishing Thwaites a happy birthday and said how grateful she was for their friendship over the past four seasons. She wrote that he was a rarity of a human being and forever a friend.
Beginning with their first encounter when the Titans save Princess Koriand’r from slavery by the Gordanians and she famously kissed him to use her telepathic abilities to learn English.
It’s a scene that’s been recreated in other mediums many times, most recently Young Justice.
The two became closer when Dick left Batman and evolved into Nightwing.
In season one Starfire didn’t have any of her memories from her home planet Tamaran and had to solve a thrilling mystery to regain them. Grayson was there to support her and his team of Titans as she searched for the answers she needed, and their attraction to one another quickly became evident.
In the alternate future storyline of Kingdom Come, they have a daughter Mar’i who goes by Nightstar.

And in the 2021 comic I Am Not Starfire, Starfire has a daughter named Mandy who at first lacks her mother’s figure and powers and is half human, implied repeatedly to be Starfire and Nightwing’s daughter.
Titans season four is expected to arrive on HBO Max in fall 2022.
