Hip-Hop/Hardcore Music Mash-Up Misfits ‘Fade ‘Em’ Are Hard To Miss

Share

The Houston-based trio Fade ‘Em All, comprised of Isaiah Rusk (vocals), Oscar Santander (guitar), and Cory Williamson (drums) continue to push boundaries and reinvent the new wave of punk/rock with their new single “Brainwashin’.”

Oh and they’re all smoking hot regulation hotties.

The band will also be performing at this year’s SXSW, see more details here. Keep your eye on this genre bending group, as there’s much more to come from them.

Although many people let loose complaints about the disingenuity of modern music, Fade ‘Em All decided to actually pick up their instruments and do something about it.

The Houston trio – Isaiah Rusk (vocals), Oscar Santander (guitar), and Cory Williamson (drums) – don’t give a shit abut genres, trends, or labels. Since 2018, they just leave bloody mosh pits and bashed brains in the wake of their sonic Molotov cocktail. This happened in the most unpredictable way possible: Lifelong friends Isaiah and Oscar used to make hip-hop together. However, Isaiah stumbled upon a YouTube video of The Ramones performing “Loudmouth,” and it changed everything.

Fade ‘Em All cut their self-titled independent full-length debut in 2018, posting up over 1 million cumulative streams. Modern Life hailed it as “one of the most unique bodies of work that has surfaced in H-Town’s sound in the past decade,” and Cullness Co called them “the band who throws some of the best mosh pits.” Perhaps, Silk Magazine summed it up best, “It’s just super cool. And super black.”

They went from sweaty underground shows and launching their own “Faders Night” to performing at the Afropunk Festival 2019 “Battle of the Bands” in Brooklyn and landing a deal with Atlantic Records.

The question is, are they rock?

Hardcore?

As long as you can bang your head to it, does it even matter?
