After much speculation it appears that Henry Cavill is done playing Kal-El/Superman in the DC Extended Universe.
Writer Matt Ramos is a highly credible source and has said he’s done.

Back in August Umberto Gonzales said that Cavill was no longer contracted at Warner Bros. for the role and now that The Flash with Ezra Miller has wrapped, most of Zach Snyder’s contributions will have been erased.
CBR: Rumors state that The Flash will erase every movie director Zack Snyder has helmed for the DC Extended Universe from its continuity. According to the source known as MyTimeToShineHello on Twitter, The Flash will “erase every movie Snyder has done,” including the events of Man of Steel, Batman v. Superman and Justice League. If these rumors are true, it means that Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne/Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman will have been completely removed from the DCEU’s continuity.
I don’t usually tweet about DC stuff but I habe a friend who have seen The Flash and the movie will erase every movie Snyder has done. Man of Steel, Batman v Superman and Justice League never happened now. Erased from continuity. Affleck and Cavill are both gone
