Sabino is a universal story about love and life set in Mexico—one of acceptance, forgiveness, and liberation—questioning social phenomena such as prejudice, machismo, homophobia, and loneliness.

The film by director Pedro Félix Aguilar is a simple tale about the life of Sabino.

Sabino is a gay man who lives alone on his ranch. Having lost his horse, Sabino faces several obstacles in his search—stemming from a life time of innuendo and rumors about him that run rampant through the town.

Sabino is homosexual.

This beautiful, heartbreaking 15-minute narrative film is one that needs to be told. Fans and contributors can make a huge impact with the smallest of donations.

Seed & Spark is the film industry’s leading crowdfunding platform. The working budget includes equipment, transportation, food, talent fees, locations, post-production, and sound design. An Austin-based boutique agency will also be doing a pro bono media campaign to support the film’s message.

Sabino will premiere on June 27, 2023 at Cinemex Pabellón Polanco in Mexico City.
