‘Black Panther 2’ Will See Michael B. Jordan Return as Erik Killmonger

Michael B. Jordan is returning as Erik Killmonger in Black Panther 2 according to Giant Freaking Robot.

Black Panther explored Killmonger’s history in a way that made his character understandable. It wouldn’t seem like Black Panther 2 would need to do more of that via flashbacks, especially if Michael B. Jordan’s character is still dead and not the villain for the sequel. If Killmonger is still dead, then it’s hard to see how his past would be relevant in Black Panther 2. If he comes back to life, there will be a lot of reason to bring Michael B. Jordan in to film new scenes. Note that this is only speculation and an argument for why it would be better if the writers are handling Killmonger’s scenes in Black Panther 2 this way. We confirmed with our sources that Killmonger is in Black Panther 2, but we don’t yet have confirmation on what happens in his story.
